  1. OMG, Elaine, I'm SO sorry. I remember how hard the loss of my best friend Tucker was - I cried for weeks, and still carry his photo with me, 8 years later. Christian is beautiful. :(

  2. I am so sorry to hear this. She will always be with you and some day you will meet her at the rainbow bridge and she will be healthy and young again. She looks like she was, and is, well loved.

I still mourn my little Kenora. She was only 13 months old when she passed.

  12. Dear Elaine, I am so very sad to read about your loss. Those of us with beloved pets know far too well the grief of losing them, it just leaves such a huge empty place in our hearts, and homes. I'll be thinking of you, and waiting till you can come back to us. Michele

  15. Hugs, hugs, many hugs. I know this isn't an easy time. I wish I had magic dust to sprinkle and ease the pain. The best I can say is that your pain is part of love. Without love, there would be no feeling of loss, but then, you would have all the memories of such a special family member and best friend.

Find some fur floating in the air, or on furniture..and realize his love will always be there for you....

    Hugs, many hugs.

  17. I am so sorry about your precious Christian. I think I can identify. Ironically, also on August 2, I had to say goodbye to Maggie, aka, my German Shepherd Girl. She was four months shy of her 15th birthday. I got her when she was 6 weeks old, I have had her more than half of my adult life. I know how much they enrich our lives and make our lives so much richer. A quote I love is this: If I know only one thing for certain, it's this: Without them, I would be something different, something less, someone else." Keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.

  20. I just wanted to say I am so sorry for your loss. I so understand how hard, and devastating it can be to loose a precious dog. I lost my sweet boy about 3 years ago. I still cry, I still miss him. I wish you comfort and peace right now. Hugs and love to you.
