Now that everyone, (stop me, I am laughing hard now), has their 6 1/2" denim squares cut out....it's time for the flannel squares.

If you're cutting flannel from the bolt, the long ruler is invaluable! I do not prewash the flannel for this project.

If you are cutting the flannel from old clothing, I prewash! I made a baby size quilt with the cotton squares. Quilting cotton is ok but with the denim...I think the flannel seems to go better.
I will post more on the batting, or filler, for the squares on Wednesday. Until then, cut away!
aarrrghh! I am so far behind.... I have the flannel (cleaned up my sewing area and put all the appropriate flannel pieces in a basket) all I need are the jeans --- c'mon mr b - surely you don't need ALL of them - do you???
