I am in the process of re-stocking my batting in my brick and mortar. I would love to hear your thoughts on:
What batting do you use ?
Cotton, poly, bamboo, soy, wool?
Pre-packaged or off the bolt/roll?
Machine or hand quilting...do you buy different batts for either?
Warm and Natural, Legacy, Hobbs, Luna, or ?
Does the cost alter your choice?
I have a Red, White and Blue quilt kit, designed by moi, to giveaway, if you answer my questions please! Why, yes it is a baby/toddler/lap size quilt! I'll draw a winner the 4th of July, toss me some answers and I'll put your name in the draw. You will have to return to my blog on the 4th to see if you are a winner if you wish to remain private or you don't have a blog. Of course you can enter if you don't live in the US! That's how I roll. Thanks, Elaine
Did ya notice, I didn't mention the goofy chooks!
quilting, embroidery, gardening, family, or anything else I want~~

Collections Charity Quilt Kits are here!
The nice UPS driver delivered a huge box from Moda today. In it were 4 quilt kits and one of my nice customers already bought 2...geez, not even out of the box yet! I was very happy to see the kits inside a reusable heavy weight canvas tote with ties at the top and a removable
shaper on the bottom. The entire kit weighs over 6 pounds! It has the cutest custom cut fabric rolls, all the fabrics for the top and binding and the free pattern.

I have listed them in my shop...international shipping is available, per usual. Check them out, very cool!

Moda Grunge
Moda has come out with a line called Grunge. I fell in love with it, and blame it all on Liz . I want sheets made from this, camera bag, bellbottoms, everything! I so heart this line...every stinking piece!
2 different grunge pinks on a pale background...what do you think? Embellished with your own embroidery.
I have been working, like forever, on this cute little quilt. INow I know why I haven't finished it yet...it NEEDS grunge! I found this poor little tattered quilt at my local flea market and had that aha moment. I wanted to recreate it so I could have it for my own. I love this quilt!
If I stock this in my shop...is it something you would want to use in your quilt?
Moda is not offering this in pre-cuts, big bummer...so I thought I could offer it in fat quarter bundles, 1/2 yard and 1 yard cuts. If there is enough interest.
So I will patiently wait for your thoughts...hmmm, hmmm...
