I'm having a giveaway~~~wahooooo!!!
I have been in quilting heaven with my little baboo. So far, a nice little stack o quilts, finished, bound, washed and loved up. I have actually been having fun (omg, what if they go back and read older posts about machine quilting being not fun).
I also realized that I hit blog #50 and need to do a giveaway! Makes my heart flip flop just thinking about it! Lets have some fun with it.
All you have to do is leave a comment here about what you are planning, gift wise, to do for Christmas or Hannakah (hope the spell checker police are sleeping on that one) or Kwanzaa this year? That's it. The only comments that count will be on this blog only.
Please, please, please...leave your email with your comment. If you don't leave your email addy or blog addy, I will chose another one. There will be 2 winners...one in the USA and another International.
The winnings are a surprise...and the winner will be chosen Sunday night. Good luck and tell all your friends. Sorry, no extra entries for posting or following. I am much to busy quilting to figure that out!

Hi Elaine, I have to laugh to myself, I think we conquered the 'machine quilting mojo' at the same time. Since I discovered that I can actually do it, I've been digging out old tops too. Can't believe I've finished 3 quilts in the last month!! Now, Christmas, I'm really pleased that I've already made some presents, stashed away in a box and have some bought ones stacked in a corner too. I decided that all the females in the family MUST have a new shopping bag so I'm on the way with that ;0).

I always have quilt tops that need to be quilted! I even have one that is 30 something years old that I haven't gotten quilted. Why do we quilt some things right away and others never seem to get done?
ReplyDeleteI am working on several holidays at once right now. Never have enough time!
Yikes! Christmas is just a few months away. I started a needlekeeper of Sue Spargo's but have messed it up badly and not sure it will be giveable:) At this point I do not have any concrete ideas. Stitcheries are always fun to make and give.
ReplyDeleteWow Elaine you are a busy quilter. I have been working on my Christmas presents for awhile now, three Gail Pan Christmas Wish BOM's (one more block to go) and planning on making a number of redwork wallhanging.
ReplyDeleteFeels good to have a jump on Christmas.
Thanks for putting my name in.
Congratulations on your 50th post and your machine quilting! I can't believe it's time to think about Christmas yet! I'm going to make either pillows or lap quilts for my kids with their names appliqued really big on them. At least that's the plan. And I already have one gift bought. It's a stamped embroidery lap quilt kit for my MIL. :0)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your 50th post! Nice work you have don! It'll be a quilt to my sister and her husband, with sailboats on. My parets get a new cofffeemachin... The rest I don't know yet

I want to make a little sentimental something for each of my kids (3) and grandbabies (3). I had a heart attack in July and I'm feeling all mushy about how much I love them and want them to remember me when I'm gone. Not that they would forget me but I just want to spread the love. I need ideas...not enough time for something big....and today is my birthday...which I might not have had if I hadn't been at the hospital when my heart attack happened.
ReplyDeleteCongratulatiobns on your 50th post!
ReplyDeleteI am always working on quilts for gifts...I like to make scrap and strippy quilts. I am working on a few Roman Stripe quilts for Christmas gifts...I think I have finished 4 now. A Few Chinese Coin quilts for Christmas gifts will be nice too...if only I will have the time to do all of this. LOL
Thanks for entering me in your lovely give away!
Fifty posts - whoo hoo!! For Christmas, I plan on making my daughter a quilt and my daughter in law a table runner. There may be some other miscellaneous items too, probably a bag for one of my sisters.
ReplyDeleteI am planning on a couple of table runners and a new "fancy" purse for my Mom. My Daughter (8) wants a wallet, so I'm going to make her wait and make up a purse, wallet, and other accesories for her. Also want to make up matching aprons for us, but they will be used before Christmas so we can look all cute while baking!
ReplyDeleteHi Elaine, love your blog and I became a follower. May I be part of your give away?? My e-mail is daniellagut@gmail.com and my blog is http://danitaysusagujas.blogspot.com

We try to make or give something we have already as a gift to each other in our family. You can see some of what I've made in past years on my blog. This year I've got interested in "amigurumi" and my daughter saw some of these crocheted animals and loved them. So this year she shall get a couple of them - for Christmas and her birthday, which is two days after Christmas.
